Global food ingredient supplier establishes foothold in Europe
BCFoods Inc. is excited to announce the acquisition of P. Visser & Zoon B.V.

Established in the Netherlands more than 180 years ago, P. Visser & Zoon B.V. is well established in the spice trade. The company is led by Jan Kees Hottentot.
Located just north of Amsterdam, this region is well known as the home of Europe’s spice trade business. P. Visser & Zoon B.V. carries a full line of spices and herbs. They have an excellent reputation for quality and service. Jan is one of the leading professionals in the trade, having served as President of the Dutch Spice Association and is a current board director of the European Spice Association.

The P. Visser & Zoon trade name will be registered and BCFoods Europe will continue using this well-respected and long-established brand in the marketplace. Jan Kees Hottentot will become the Managing Director of BCFoods Europe.
Starting in 2020, customers can expect to see BCFoods’ full line of dried vegetables, onion, garlic, spices and seasonings being supplied throughout Europe. They can also expect to see a select range of the P. Visser & Zoon B.V. line of spices, seeds and herbs supplied worldwide.
