Cilantro may have been one of the first herbs used in culinary history, dating as far back as 5000 BC. The fragrant herb grows wild in Western Asia and Southern Europe. Today, it’s used to add a bright flavor that is both citrusy and parsley-like to dishes worldwide. Cilantro pairs well with onion and lime peel.
Like many culinary herbs, cilantro has been used throughout history to support health. Studies show that cilantro may support several aspects of wellbeing, including a healthy brain, mood, and blood sugar.(1)
BCFoods offers various cuts of dried cilantro that can be used in many savory applications, including seasoning blends, meal kits, frozen meals, pre-seasoned chicken, salad dressings, dips, spreads, salsas, cooking sauces, Instant Pot ready meals, instant rice meals, instant noodles, and more.
Ask your sales rep for additional cuts that may be available, including granulated cilantro.
